Ginastera is operated by Izcaray LLC, an Alabama limited liability company serving orchestras, opera houses and conductors internationally. These terms govern your use of ginastera.com and the Ginastera application.
Ginastera is a reference and planning tool for orchestral repertoire: instrumentation data, hiring economics, season planning and performance history. Instrumentation is compiled from published sources and, where a figure is not verified, it is shown as TBD rather than guessed. Always confirm instrumentation against the publisher's official parts list before contracting musicians or renting materials. We do not accept liability for hiring or budget decisions made from this data.
Individual plans are Student ($5/month or $50/year), Amateur ($6/month or $60/year) and Individual Pro ($14/month or $140/year); Institutional is from $1,800/year. All prices are in US dollars. Paying annually costs ten months for twelve on every individual plan. Every subscription begins with a 7-day free trial with full access. A payment method is collected when the trial starts and nothing is charged during it; the subscription then renews automatically at the plan price unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any point during the trial and you will not be charged. The catalogue can also be browsed as a guest without an account or a card.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Charges appear on your statement as GINASTERA.
Accounts are for people aged 13 and over. If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms, must be named on the account, and is the account holder and the person responsible for payment — you are welcome to use the application, but the contract is theirs. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email support@ginastera.com and we will delete it.
The Student rate is for people who are actually studying. You qualify if you are under 18 — at that age no further proof is asked of you, and none should be: your age is the qualification — or if you are 18 or over and enrolled at a conservatory, music academy, university or college, in a pre-college or preparatory division, in a graduate, artist diploma or doctoral programme, or as a member of a youth or training orchestra.
Eligibility is confirmed by your own statement at checkout. We do not ask you to upload a student card, an enrolment letter or any identity document, and we do not want one — particularly not from a minor. What we do ask for is a date: the year you expect to finish, or, if you are under 18, the year you turn 18. Student status runs to the end of that year and then stops. We will tell you well before it does, and confirming again takes one click if you are still studying. If you are not, the Amateur plan carries the same catalogue, dossiers, editions and performance archive at $6/month and asks nothing of you.
A statement made to obtain the Student rate is a statement to us, and we rely on it. If a subscription was obtained on a statement that was not true, we may move the account to the correct plan or close it. In practice we would rather ask you first.
You may cancel at any time from the Accounts tab in the application, which opens the Stripe billing portal. On cancellation your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed. We do not pro-rate partial months.
If you are dissatisfied within 14 days of a charge, email support@ginastera.com and we will refund that charge in full, no argument. Duplicate charges and billing errors are always refunded. Institutional agreements may be governed by a separate written contract, which prevails over this section where the two differ.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Your saved work — programs, rosters, budgets and performance records — belongs to you. We do not sell personal data. You may request export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support.
Accounts are for the named individual or, for Institutional plans, the named organization. Please do not resell, scrape wholesale, or redistribute the catalogue as a competing dataset. We may suspend accounts that do so, or that attempt to disrupt the service.
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes affecting price or your rights will be announced by email to the address on your account before they take effect.
